Business Unit Cost Analyst (2021)

POSITION:  Business Unit Cost Analyst 

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate as a member of cross-functional business unit team
• Assist with month-end close activities by providing appropriate accrual information, journal entries, etc.
• Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) 
• Report monthly results to management                               
• Develop business unit material / freight forecasts and profit plan and provide variance tracking on a daily / weekly / monthly basis
• Track commodity indices and communicate variances between customer recovery and supply base cost
• Set standard cost and perform variance analysis
• Participate in a variety of financial analysis and special projects as required

DEGREE:  Bachelor      MAJOR:  Accounting, Finance
