General Ledger Accounting Analyst/ Tool Rebill Analyst

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:                                                 

•             Responsible for coordinating month end close activities

•             Posting month End Journal Entries           

•             Accurate and timely account reconciliation that fulfil all control requirements

•             Maintain and document proper internal controls

•             Review Cash balances prior to month end close to ensure no reconciling items

•             QAD account Maintenance - Accounts, Sub accounts, Cost Centers

•             Monthly submission of Trial Balance to HFM

•             Analyze Core Sales/Returns to establish Core Reserve

•             Monitor Environmental Reserve/JV's/Recons

•             Organize/Lead weekly cross functional Tool Rebill Meetings

•             Track Tooling Rebills                      

•             Update Tool Rebill Spending reports

•             Supervise/Train Tooling Rebill Student                                  

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:      

•             Problem Solving               

•             Process Mapping (T-accounts)

•             Accounting Software (ERP- QAD, etc)

•             MS Office (word, excel, power point, access)

•             Hyperion Software (consolidation & reporting)

•             Financial Planning and Analysis

•             Qualitative Variance Analysis

•             Internal Control and Audit Experience

•             Technical Accounting (IFRS, GAAP, STATUTORY)

•             Account Reconciliations (T-accounts)                                                     

QUALIFICATIONS:                                                                                           

DEGREE:  Bachelor Degree     MAJOR:   Accounting, Finance                                          

•             3 Years of experience in Accounting/Finance, public accounting experience preferred 

•             Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

•             Demonstrated high level of analytical ability where problems are complex

•             Demonstrated high level of oral and written communication skills

•             Demonstrated commitment to quality

•             Strong self-starter with initiative and innovative attitude

•             Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

•             Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of colleagues across functions

•             Effective oral and written communication skills

•             Excellent computer/ Excel skills

•             Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting/finance principles
