Key Responsibilities

As an Electromagnetic Engineer, you will be responsible to:

Responsible for electromagnetic analysis, modeling and design of electric machines, electromechanical actuators, and sensors for electric and hybrid vehicle propulsion application.
Testing and validation of motors and sensors for system requirements.
Design and implement features targeting loss minimization, utilizing the hardware to its capability and NVH reduction.
Designs and optimizes simultaneous system performance goals through requirements flow down. Understands and creates system and subsystem specifications.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of brushless machines such as Permanent Magnet (PM), Switch Reluctance Motor (SRM), Induction machine (IM), and other magnetic devices.
Knowledge of electromagnetic finite element analysis, modeling, sizing, and calibration
Experience with design and analysis of electric machines and sensors specifically related to vehicle systems – including machine design, inverters, and battery systems.
