Global Treasury Analyst (2021)

Summary: This position will be part of Nexteer Automotive Corporation’s Corporate Treasury Operations Team.  The role’s primary responsibilities will include cash reporting of the Nexteer U.S. entity’s daily cash position and the global cash pool daily cash position, as well as management of Treasury internal controls over bank account opening/closing and bank user entitlements.  It will perform various Treasury Operations duties along with providing support for global Treasury initiatives and ad-hoc assignments

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Nexteer global bank accounts to ensure account control policies and procedures are followed regarding signers, system access, etc.
  • Quarterly reporting process and review of all global Nexteer location bank system access, entitlements, and signing authority by person by account
  • Semi-Annual reporting process and review of all global Nexteer location bank system access and entitlements as supported by bank system documentation
  • Annual reporting process and review of all global Nexteer location bank signers as supported by proper documentation
  • Multi-Bank Reporting of daily global cash balances for all global bank accounts
  • Daily manual updates of account balances and communications with Sites
  • Weekly correction of prior manual account balances with updated data from Sites
  • Update various files/analysis for daily cash to assist in forecasting cash pool liquidity, cash pool profitability and investable cash available
  • Backup to other Corporate Treasury processes (US daily cash forecasting, wire transfers, etc.)
  • Support global Nexteer entities regarding Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Finance functions on an ad-hoc basis

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or related field required
  • Fluent command of English language in writing and speaking required, other languages a plus
  • 1+ years of Finance/Treasury experience in the relevant field gained in a multinational company a plus
  • Experience working with multiple banking systems and G-Treasury system preferred but not required
  • Ability to interact effectively with finance groups throughout the global organization
  • Conceptual/big picture thinker but able to apply that to processes and details and perform detailed analysis as required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to solve problems in a self-reliant manner
  • Presentation, process management, and analytical skills
