About the Role:
The Senior Global Talent Management Manager is a global leadership role responsible for leading the execution and integration of Nexteer’s Talent Management priorities across divisions.
This role translates enterprise Talent Management priorities into scalable global programs, governance, and operating rhythms, ensuring consistent and high-quality execution worldwide. The role partners closely with global and divisional HR teams and business stakeholders to align approaches, resolve issues, and drive enterprise outcomes in a matrix environment.
Success in this role requires strong network leadership - the ability to bring people together, influence peers, and align stakeholders across functions and regions to move work forward. The role is expected to lead cross‑divisional problem-solving efforts and bring forward decision‑ready recommendations (options, risks, and tradeoffs) for review and decisions by Global Talent Management & Learning leadership. This role owns global integration, operating rhythm, and cross-divisional issue resolution of Talent Management initiatives through influence in a matrix environment.
This position reports to the Director of Global Talent Management & Learning.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Global Talent Management Manager, you will be responsible to:
- Translate and drive enterprise Talent Management priorities into clear global programs and implementation plans, including scope, milestones, decision points, and escalation paths.
- Own the day‑to‑day global operating rhythm (cadence, sequencing, dependency management) across core Talent Management processes.
- Serve as the primary integration and resolution lead across divisional Talent Management teams, aligning approaches and addressing issues prior to senior escalation.
- Drive consistent, high‑quality execution of global TM processes including succession planning, performance management, talent reviews, and skills/competency frameworks.
- Monitor program effectiveness, identify risks or inconsistencies, and drive continuous improvement in partnership with divisional teams.
- Partner and align with other Global HR Centers of Expertise to ensure alignment, consistency, and synergy of strategic HR initiatives.
- Partner with divisional HR Directors & Talent Management leads (local execution owners) to drive global consistency, timing and process alignment, and adoption of enterprise Talent Management outcomes.
- Develop and present clear recommendations for Global Talent Management & Learning leadership, including options, risks, and tradeoffs.
- Leverage talent analytics and assessment insights to identify trends and inform forward‑looking talent discussions and recommendations.
- Build Talent Management capability across regions through enablement, tools, coaching, and best‑practice sharing.
- Partner with HRIS, analytics, and IT teams to enhance Talent Management system processes and insights, including defining reporting and configuration needs, validating outputs, and driving adoption of insights and continuous improvement in real cycles.
- Translate enterprise Talent Management strategy into high‑quality global execution and sustained alignment across divisions.
- Proactively identify and apply AI solutions in TM that drive continuous improvement, increase operational efficiency, and uphold privacy and security best practices.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Talent Management, Strategic HR, or related HR leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience shaping and leading Talent Management/HR strategies in a global, matrixed environment.
- Proven ability to lead execution through influence (without relying on direct authority), aligning stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Demonstrated strength in network leadership and growth mindset, including motivating and connecting teams to drive results.
- Strong program and project management skills
- Solid understanding of HRIS platforms and talent analytics (SuccessFactors and PowerBI experience preferred).
- Experience with succession planning, performance management, and talent development.
- AI fluency or willingness to develop AI fluency relevant to the role.
- Experience or certification in workplace talent assessments preferred.
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
