About the Role:

The scope of this role will be determined based on candidate’s experience and skills.  The Treasury Professional will lead corporate insurance and risk management related matters and operate with a high degree of accountability and ownership.  Corporate insurance and risk management services for global operations encompass insurance renewals, claims handling, contract assessments, budget and forecast variance analysis, and support for any projects necessitating corporate insurance expertise.

 

Key Responsibilities

As the Treasury Senior Risk and Insurance Analyst, you will be responsible to:

  • Proactively serve as a point of contact to global operations providing appropriate advice for claim reporting, budget, premium allocations, COIs management, and general insurance questions.
  • Lead US based Workers’ Compensation claims management including litigation and state self-insurance.
  • Lead global broker engagement and US claims management providers.
  • Coordinate and collect needed exposure data from all affiliates for insurance renewals, actuarial study, and budget allocations.
  • Analyze “Insurance Requirements” in various agreements and contracts, including Procurement, and Services and confirm compliance.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of core insurance coverage forms and principles.
  • Initiate projects with brokers/carriers that will reduce risk and/or reduce premiums.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in either Risk Management or Treasury.
  • Excellent PC skills – emphasis on MS Office Excel (medium to advanced level).
  • Understanding of insurance and risk management concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with problem solving abilities.
  • High degree of self-motivation, intellectual curiosity, and ambition to grow and learn constantly.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to establish rapport & interact positively with interdisciplinary teams, both internal and external.
  • Detail oriented with ability to maintain focus through completion of projects.
  • Able to work independently and with minor supervision.
  • Ability to analyze and present quantitative and qualitative information to a variety of audiences.

 

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Accounting or Finance.  Other degrees considered with relevant experience. 
  • Existing ARM Certification is preferred.
