Treasury Supply Chain & FX Risk Analyst


Summary: This role will be responsible for managing both supply chain risk and fx risk for the global company. This will require the ability to analyze data, present it in a concise manner to management, and propose risk mitigation solutions.  This role will report to the Treasury Manager. 


Primary Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Supply Chain:
    • Maintain supply chain risk software (KPMG’s 3PI)
    • Analyze specific supplier risk situations including; review at supplier nomination/sourcing, ongoing production reviews, and active distressed supplier situations
    • Work with Nexteer Purchasing and Finance professionals from the supply base to understand the supplier’s financial health, the inherent risk factors, and the impact to the Purchasing strategy
    • Review findings and propose risk mitigation recommendations to management
  • Foreign Exchange:
    • Collect currency risk data from the global operating sites and communicate risk to management
    • Propose fx risk mitigation recommendations including financial hedging and natural hedging
    • Recommend fx forecasts based on bank publications
    • Create a monthly macroeconomic report


Desired Skills & Experience

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with non-Finance functions, banking partners, and professionals from other firms within the supply chain
  • Conceptual/big picture thinker but able to apply that to processes and details and perform detailed analysis as required
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and strong attention to details
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving utilizing sound business judgment
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of international settings with professionals across various functions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint



  • 0-5 years of Finance experience
  • Presentation, process management, and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to Finance and non-finance groups throughout all levels of the organization
