Position Overview:

The Accounts Receivable Analyst performs a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. Maintains contact with staff, customers and sales team.

Job Responsibilities:

Under general guidance, the Accounts Receivable Analyst will:

• Post cash receipts, research payment discrepancies and maintain clean customer statements.
• Monitor, analyze and resolve customer balances (review and work with internal and external customers on variances).
• Prepare accurate and timely past due A/R reporting.
• Monitor A/R Interfaces and resolve any issues.
• Prepare manual billings for customers and submit for payment.
• Prepare monthly adjusting Accounts Receivable journal entries accurately and timely.
• Ensure effective internal controls are maintained.
• Respond to internal and external audit requests to maintain compliance.
• Perform other ad hoc analysis (project-based analysis).

Qualifications:

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2 years of relevant accounting work experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting and internal controls
• Ability to work well with others
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Highly proficient in Excel spreadsheets
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
