Global IT Co-Op - Business & IT Support
Location: Saginaw, MI (onsite required 2-3 days per week)
Department: IT / Global ERP Team
Reports To: Global ERP Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a driven business student with solid IT competencies to join our Global ERP Team. This role offers practical experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, business process support, and IT application security management. It represents an outstanding opportunity to acquire valuable expertise at the intersection of business and technology within a global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage business request forms for ERP-related activities
- Administer business relationships within our current ERP system
- Handle ERP security requests, including user access provisioning and role assignments
- Assist with security audits and compliance checks within the ERP environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely execution of requests
- Document processes and maintain records for audit and reporting purposes
- Generate and facilitate ad-hoc reporting to address business and IT requirements within the ERP system
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the ERP team
- Take on miscellaneous team tasks
Qualifications
- Candidate must be attending a 2-year college or 4-year university local to Saginaw (position requires onsite presence)
- Currently pursuing a B.A. or B.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Candidate must be able to work 20-32 hours / week during Fall and Winter semesters
- Up to 40 hours / week when not in school
- Must have cumulative 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale
- Must be a full-time student (12 or more credits) during Fall and Winter semesters
- Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Products (Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Candidate must be a self-starter able to work with limited direction and able to solicit help as needed
- Familiarity with ERP systems fundamentals
- Excellent skills in communication and organization
- Candidate must have right to work in the US and not require current or future sponsorship
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Microsoft PowerBI and / or PowerApps
- Experience working in a team environment
- Seeking a sophomore or junior with the ability to work with us for a minimum of 1.5 years
